First of all, let me say that NO, this is not a spam or scam. I am anti-spam and I detest scams that rip off women, so keep reading and you'll see what I mean.
There are Mom-companies online that need to make sales for their websites. They gladly pay a percentage of each sale to the person who brings them the customer. It's like a Real Estate agent, receiving a commission. The percent you receive can be anywhere from 5%-75% depending on the product. Don't get this confused with MLMit's different. There's no hard selling or calling your friends. This kind of business is called Affiliate Marketing.
Here's the cool part. You don't need a website in order to promote these programs. Many of them will allow you to include the special link they'll give you in emails you send to family and friends. Now, again, these aren't spammy or sales emails, but you can just include the link at the bottom of any email you would regularly send like: 'Hi Sis, Just wanted to tell you about the Ballet Recital' or 'Here's an update from our family'.
Even if you are forwarding jokes to family or friendsyou can include the affiliate link at the bottom and make money. If you have friends who use yahoomail, you'll see that yahoo includes advertisements at the bottom of their messages. This is a similar idea.
Let me interrupt with three big disclaimers here.
1. Not all programs will accept you unless you have your own website. But, many will. 2. Not all programs will allow you to include their links in email messagesbut some will. 3. You will not make a ton of money doing this, but it'll introduce you to what is called 'Affiliate Marketing' and, if you choose to learn more, you can make a very good amount of money down the road. Trust me on that one. (wink)
So, find a few programs that you really like, and sign up for their 'affiliate' or 'referral' programs. Then, grab some links and start spreading the word. You might start off small, but you never know what the future might hold. I wish you the best!
