The city of San German is known for its architectural beauty. San Germn is also the second Puerto Rican city to be included in the National Register of Historic Places. Buildings, monuments and plazas fill a 36-acre historic zone in San German. The island offers a wide variety of sports including golf, tennis and hiking. Dorado Beach, Cerromar Beach, and Palmas del Mar are the chief centers for golf, tennis and beach life.
