There are many reasons to rent a Cabo San Lucas Villa instead of going to a resort or hotel. Staying anywhere in Cabo San Lucas will be enjoyable but if you can make it even more enjoyable, why shouldn't you?
When you rent a Cabo villa you and your family or friends are the only occupants in the property. This gives you so much more peace and quiet. Your privacy is increased as well as your security. If you stay in the Pedregal De Cabo San Lucas gated community there are 24 hour security patrols.
If you go to Cabo San Lucas with a group of friends you can all split the cost of the villa. This gives you more privacy for the same price as a stay at a hotel. You will just have to sort out who has which room as they're not all equal. So you can adjust everyone's cost, or swap rooms during your vacation.
Getting a space around the pool can be a nightmare sometimes in a hotel. Getting up at 6.00 am to book your sun lounger with your towel when you're on vacation isn't fun. You'll also find it much more peaceful as well around the pool. Just laying there soaking up the sun with the Pacific Ocean breeze cooling you off.
If you like the beach it's just a few minutes away down the Pedregal hills. Although you can't swim in the Ocean due to the powerful undercurrents this does give you the beach practically to yourself. But if you do want a dip in the water you have your private pool back at your villa.
Staying at a resort can make your mealtimes expensive. Staying at the villa gives you an option of a stroll into downtown Cabo to one of the many restaurants. Your main choices are Mexican, Seafood and Italian. With these you can't be without the Tequila theme as well in the restaurants. Some of them have so many choices of Tequila you won't get through them all in one vacation. If you don't want to walk you can get a hire car, and usually park this at the villa depending on which one you stay in.
If you don't want to go into downtown Cabo for your meals you can just buy some groceries, and cook the meal yourself in your villa's gourmet kitchen. And your other option is to request an onsite Gourmet Chef to cook you up a treat.
Every villa has a BBQ as well that you can enjoy. A few steaks or ribs cooking on the BBQ can make anyone hungry.
Being right next to downtown Cabo you can easily walk to the nightlife. There you can experience the Tequila bars and live bands. Clubs such as Cabo Wabo and the Giggling Marlin are well known nightspots in Cabo San Lucas.
